A 36-year-old Victoria woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of phoning in a bomb threat ay the Victoria County Courthouse.

Dominique Porche Ross was due in court yesterday morning at 9am to answer for charges of alleged property theft. A crime she's been convicted of multiple times before. In fact, she's got a rap sheet dating back to 1998 that also includes credit card crimes.

It is alleged that Ross phoned in the bomb threat sometime around 7am, when the courthouse had very limited staff.

According to police (and I have NO idea how they put the pieces together) Ross showed up to the courthouse for her 9am appointment and was taken into custody.

If convicted, she faces up to 2 years in state jail and a fine of up to $10,000....and that's just for the bomb threat.

Either way, if she is guilty, this certainly qualifies as stupid criminal.

We shall keep you posted.
