On Monday, February 29, 2016, Investigators with the Victoria Police Department, along with members of the Crime Reduction Unit, and Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a location off Wood Duck Court in Victoria County.

The warrant stems from an investigation into reports of invasive photography. Specifically, the reports claimed 45 year old Alexander Monroe used a cell phone to take photographs under the skirts of unsuspecting women.

While executing the search warrant, Investigators located and seized several electronic storage devices believed to contain evidence of his crimes. Monroe was also arrested for an outstanding warrant for Invasive Visual Recording, a state jail felony. He was transported to the Victoria County Jail where he was later released on a $ 30,000.00 bond.

The investigation continues and the total number of victims is not yet known, but investigators suspect that Monroe may be linked to additional incidents that have not yet been reported. Victoria Police Department urges anyone who believes they were the victim of invasive visual recording to report the incident to Sergeant Luther at 361-485-3788 or 361-573-3221.

Keep your head on a swivel Victoria. And if you suspect to be one of the victims please let the authorities know ASAP.
