Generals Top Strykers 8-4

The Victoria Generals gathered some momentum as they near the end of the Texas Collegiate League Season with an 8-4 win over the Woodlands Strykers.

Matthew Burks and Brian Porticelli were the 2 Generals batters who combined for 5 RBIs, while starting pitcher Stuart Springer had a good night going 5 innings.

Tonight is the  night will be the regular season finale for the Generals against the Strykers. The Generals will then return home to face the Acadiana Cane Cuttersin the TCL playoffs  tomorrow night at 7:05 at Riverside Stadium. It will be a free ticket night presented by Citizens Medical Center.
