How 'bout those Generals! Coming back from a 4-0 deficit in game 3 of the Texas Collegiate League Championship Series, the Victoria Generals came back to beat the Acadiana Cane Cutters 7-4, marking the team's first overall title in 8 years.

Luis Vargas started the comeback in the bottom of the 6th inning belting a triple to tie the game Saturday night at Riverside Stadium, and Chase Evans hit a 2-run homer to take the lead for good. It was only the 3rd homer for Evans this season.

On the mound, Alex Canul started the game, Luke Taggart and Garrett Alexander finished in relief, and between the 3 of them, 14 Cane Cutters went down swinging.

The Generals came back from 1 game down in the series to win 2 straight and the championship, finishing the season at 33-19.

Way to go Generals!!
