The Victoria Generals got some good old fashioned revenge on the East Texas Pumpjacks last night, in a 15-2 romp at Riverside Stadium. The win evened the series between the two teams, with the Generals losing by almost as large a margin Saturday with an 11-2 score.

Ryan Benitez was the starting pitcher, and he went 7 innings, giving up 2 runs with 3 strikeouts for the win.

It was the bottom of the 8th when the Generals began scoring almost at will, putting up 11 runs. 6 hits, 5 walks and 1 error would make the score 15-2.

Next up for The Generals, a trip to Bryan, Texas to tangle with the Brazos Valley Bombers Tuesday and Wednesday, with a 4-game home stand beginning Thursday.
