How many people do you know that are good enough golfers to compete in a pro tournament? Probably not very many. Hats off to Casey Russell of Victoria, who competed in the PGA Professional Championship at Sun River Resort in Sun River, Oregon.

Russell, who is the head golf pro at The Club at Colony Creek in Victoria finished 27th in the tourney, which was actually an eight-way tie.

Russell shot a 291 total, with rounds of 69, 75, 73 and 74 yesterday.

Omar Uresti of Austin, TX won the tournament, and heads to the 99th PGA Tournament at Quail Hollow in August.
