We made it to the playoffs. The Houston Texans have a lot to be proud of this season, starting out the year at 0-3 and then winning 9-in-a-row to finish the season at 11-5.

Now, comes the next challenge, a Wildcard matchup against division rivals the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts were 1-3 and ended the season at 10-6, becoming only the third team to make the playoffs after that start, while the Texans made the playoffs for the fifth time.

Numbers guys put the Texans as 1-point favorites with an over-under of total points at 47.5. Now, I don't care about sportsbooks, but I do care about the fact that these 2 teams have met twice this season, they split with each team winning one, and both games were decided by only 3 points and they're playing the game in Houston so, give the Texans a slight edge on that basis.

Offense: Deshaun Watson had a heck of a year being the first quarterback to throw for over 4,000 yards with 25 touchdowns while also rushing for 500 yards and 5 TDs.

Defense: The Houston Texans rank 4th in points allowed at 19.8 with a great line including J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney that can stop the run, some pretty good pass defense too, but they need to not let up. Despite all that talent, we have seen them have some pretty bad games.

The Colts are driven by Andrew Luck who could very well win NFL Comeback Player of the Year. In 2 games the teams have played against each other this year, Luck threw for 863 yards and 6 TDs, part of his total of 39 touchdowns with 15 picks on the year.

So, on paper the Texans have a slight edge but, as you well know, anything can happen, and that's why they play the game.
