Restaurants, retail and other stores can reopen today under Governor Abbott's reopening plan. Granted, those establishments can only get to a 25% capacity. But as the Governor said, there is no requirement to open.

Whataburger is one of those establishments that will not open their dining room to patrons just yet according to ksat.com. Whataburger is waiting to make sure everyone is ready and trained for the arrival of guests back inside.

Whataburger issued a statement to KSAT:

While we’re seeing some states lift stay-at-home orders, Whataburger is still working on a plan to reopen our dining rooms only when the time is right. It’s critical that we have the correct processes and training in place to keep our Whataburger Family – both employees and guests – safe when we do reopen. In the meantime, we’re proud to offer our customers a warm meal and a kind word through the drive-thru and curbside pickup.

You'll still be able to order your number one with cheese through the Whataburger app to pick up in their drive thru or curbside. We'll just have to wait a little longer to go inside and eat.
