Justice can be slow, but this is ridiculous! In South Carolina, WIS-TV reported a story about a man who received a notice in the mail informing him about a speeding ticket...from 1985!John Jeffords, who back in the day drove a turbo-charged Volvo, said he got a few warnings about excessive speed, and remembers one ticket, which he said was paid. Court officials say the check was never received.

So, back to the original question-isn't there a statute of limitations on things like this? I mean really. What's next, will they be coming after me for the time I sneaked in to the movies in 1975?
