Beginning this Fall, VISD high school student who want to take dual credit courses at Victoria College won't have to spend as much money.

Thanks to a partnership between the VISD Education Foundation and the VC Foundation, an in-county 3-credit hour class that would cost $264 dollars, will now cost only $50.

The new program was announced last week by Victoria West High School President David Hinds and VISD Superintendent Robert Jacklich, and it will allow up to 200 eligible students to enroll in 1 VC class per semester.

Speaking about the partnership, Hinds said they believe this will continue to build the college-going culture in Victoria.
