Victoria West Girls Summer Soccer League Holding Car Wash Today

The girls of Victoria West High School's Summer Soccer League are holding a car wash today from 10a - 2p at Gold's Gym Express on Navarro. Their goal is to raise money for the upcoming summer soccer season.

These girls work hard all year long and the Summer Soccer program is intended to help keep the girls in playing shape and keep their skills sharp. Victoria West's girls will be playing in Houston primarily to keep at a higher competitive level and that's where you come in. It isn't cheap to transport an entire soccer team and equipment back and forth to Houston so the girls will be hosting a few fund raisers starting with the car wash today.

The money raised will also cover the costs of the summer season fees as well as uniforms for the team made up primarily of JV and Varsity girls.

We here at KLUB Classic Rock 106.9 support our local sports teams and encourage you to get out and show your hometown pride and help support these girls as they get ready to tackle the upcoming summer season.....metaphorically of course.
