Victoria Wells Fargo Bank Robber May Have Been Houston’s ‘Dapper Desperado’

A Wells Fargo Bank branch in Victoria was robbed last weekend and police say the suspect may also be responsible for a Houston bank robbery.

The man Houston Police have called the 'Dapper Desperado' because of the way he's dressed, is a suspect in the holdup of a Commercial Bank location in Houston last week. Authorities say a similarly-dressed man held up the Wells Fargo bank branch on N. Main St. in Victoria last Saturday, making off with $11,442 in cash.

The suspect is described as 6 feet tall with shaved or short brown hair, and he may have been wearing a baseball cap sporting the Under Armor logo and a red shirt with the word 'oracle,' multi-colored sunglasses and a brown or green sportcoat. Authorities also say the man appears to be in his late 20's or early 30's.

The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the indentificationand arrest of the suspect.
