Victoria Needs a New Breakfast Restaurant, Stat!

We had some family in for a visit this weekend from Austin, and we thought it would be nice to take everybody out for breakfast Sunday morning. Based on past experience, we knew that both typical breakfast all day restaurants, i.e. IHOP and Denny's would be busy after church, so we tried to go a little earlier to beat the crowd. Unfortunately, it didn't help.

We started at IHOP, where there was at least a 20 minute wait. Having 2 small children with us, we thought we'd go across the way to Denny's to see if t was going to be any quicker. Needless to say, it wasn't.

We did end up waiting, but wouldn't it be nice if there was another choice? I say it's about time for another option, like my favorite, Cracker Barrel.

Now, that's just one of my favorites, but it could be any other similar kind of place, with American food that serves breakfast all day. Maybe even a second location of either IHOP or Denny's on the other side of town.
