It came down to one deciding game in the best-of-three Texas Collegiate League Championship Series, but the Victoria Generals fell in a close one to the Brazos Valley Bombers 2-1.

The 2 teams were evenly matched, and all 3 games were decided by just 1 run. The win gives the Bombers the first ever back-to-back TCL titles, both series were against the Generals.

The Generals managed 7 hits in the game, and pitcher Ty Schlottmann did manage to shutout the Bombers through 4 innings.
Despite the fact that the Generals lost the series, they still have a lot to be proud of for making it to the Championship.
Here's to next year!
