Victoria Garbage Collection Schedules for Thanksgiving Week

Is your normal garbage collection day on Thursday like mine? The City of Victoria has announced a few changes for this Thanksgiving week, along with some other pertinent holiday information.

All non-emergency city offices will be closed Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 for the Thanksgiving observance.

Holiday schedule for trash pickup:

If your garbage is normally collected on Thursday (Thanksgiving Day), we will be picking it up on Wednesday, Nov. 22.

If your yard waste is normally collected on Thursdays, we will be picking up on Saturday, Nov. 25.

If your recycling is normally collected on Thursdays, we will be picking up on Saturday, Nov. 25.

All garbage/yard waste/recycling routes will resume back to normal on Monday, November 27.
