Victoria BBQ Hot Spot Gives Special Offer to Teachers & Veterans

I've never met a Texan who didn't smile around really good BBQ. So, you tend to see a lot of happy folks coming and going from Dickey's Barbecue Pit out near the Victoria Mall.

Kevin Ferrall who is the owner of Dickey's Barbecue Pit here in town was featured in Crossroadstoday.com after making an offer to our teaching community here in the Crossroads. Kevin has graciously offered to give a free barbecue sandwich to all Veterans and Teachers here in the Crossroads. Ferrall says he was inspired to show his appreciation to our teachers and veterans and to try and give everyone a lift and another reason to smile.  Kevin told Crossroadstoday.com that "You are important to our community, so we wanted to make sure that you are reminded of that and know that you are well respected and taken care of at Dickey's Barbecue Pit".

Keep in mind the offer is valid during the month of October, but the restaurant offers a 10% discount to all Veterans and First Responders. Show these guys some love and take a teacher or veteran there for lunch this month!
