If you have a high school student in your family that's interested in robotics, math and other sciences, they can register for the 21st Annual Math & Robotics Awareness Day. Registration is now open for the event, which takes place on April 28th at the UHV University North Multi-Purpose Room at 3007 N. Ben Wilson.

According to a UHV press release, students will be able to watch and take part in activities involving math and robotics and see a demonstration by high school students who are part of an after school robotics class.

The event is funded and sponsored by the Alcoa Foundation, and will give students a chance to tour the UHV campus, and talk to area companies that use the technology including Dow, Caterpillar, Civilcorp, Invista and Diamond Fiberglass.

Students can register for the event through their high school or online here. The deadline to register is March 25th.
