By now, everybody knows about the incident that happened on a United Airlines flight where a passenger was forcibly removed to accommodate some airline employees who needed to get on the overbooked plane. Needless to say, after seeing the phone shot video about 12,000 times on the news, I was appalled. It certainly looked like the airline policy of overbooking flights was to blame, and they really had no reason to have police drag this poor guy off the plane. I mean, why couldn't the airline make other arrangements for their employees? Why can't airlines just keep 4 seats open for situations like this? I say the airline should have to eat the cost of a few empty seats so that passengers aren't treated this way.

Enough of my soap box, the reason I'm writing this blog is to share some of the funniest tweets I have ever seen on the issue. Leave it to the twittersphere to make the best of a golden opportunity.
