The San Antonio Riverwalk has come to life early this year!  The lights turned on November 12th and will remain on from dusk to dawn each night until January 4th, 2021!  If you haven't seen it before, it is amazing.  Enjoy the spectacular display of over 100,000 lights, 2,250 strings of lights, to be exact.  This Holiday spectacle is FREE, well, except for parking.  I mean, we are in downtown San Antonio.

In case you didn't know, the River Walk is considered a public park and is open every day of the year, 24 hours a day. The lights are actually a gift to the public from the San Antonio River Walk Association and the City of San Antonio. Holiday lights are on the downtown portion of the River Walk.  Get more information about the Lighted Riverwalk by clicking here.
You can also enjoy floating Mariachi's from November 19th - November 21st. There will be four to five boats carrying Mariachis or dancers who will travel along the river route, first at 7:00 PM and then at 8:00 PM. You can't enjoy San Antonio without Mariachi's LOL. Social distancing and face mask regulations will be followed by musicians and dancers.
You can also enjoy an awesome Christmas experience at Fiesta Texas(admission required). Fiesta Texas will have Christmas trees, giant ornaments, “massive stacks of presents” and “larger-than-life toys" for photo opportunities, and yes an appearance by Santa. 'Holiday in the Park' will start on November 21st and run through January 3rd.  A reservation is required for you to enter the park. Please visit the Fiesta Texas website for more information.
