Don’t panic. Another Hitchhiker’s Guide is coming — and this one is a TV series.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Hulu is working on a new television adaptation of the beloved British radio series turned novels by Douglas Adams. The BBC previously adapted Adams’s work for TV back in the early 1980s. The most recent version of Hitchhiker’s Guide was the big-budget movie version, starring Martin Freeman as Earth’s sole survivor, Arthur Dent, in 2005.

The new series will come from two notable TV creators:

Carlton Cuse (Lost, Jack Ryan) and Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman) are collaborating on the project, sources confirm to The Hollywood Reporter. The show comes from Disney's ABC Signature, the division of ABC Studios that focuses on development for cable and streaming outlets.

Cuse’s recent TV work includes LostBates MotelJack RyanThe Strain, and Locke & Key. Jason Fuchs wrote Pan and co-wrote Ice Age: Continental Drift and the first Wonder Woman. So now it just comes down to the casting of Arthur and the rest of the crew. But given Hitchhiker’s origins, this should make a perfect prestige TV series.
