How about a big hand for the CEO of Texas Roadhouse stepping up for his employees during a time of need.  W. Kent Taylor wants his pay from back on March 18th through the rest of the year to go to his employees.

MarketWatch says Taylor's bonus will also be sent off to employees as well. Taylor's earned compensation in 2018 was $1.3 million. MarketWatch also shared the news that Texas Roadhouse is suspending its dividend to try and keep extra cash on hand during the Covid-19 pandemic.

On Navarro in Victoria, Texas Roadhouse is serving up To-Go and Curbside service in a continued effort to keep feeding residents. Taylor says on the chain's website that Texas Roadhouse wants to help fill the gap however they can.

How many of us have had a conversation this week about "Where should we order food from?" There are plenty of places with zero restaurants like Texas Roadhouse to help feed everyone despite all dining rooms being closed. We are lucky to still have so many great choices in Victoria. A huge shout out to everyone working in the foodservice industry under all these conditions. Thank you for being the best of neighbors to your fellow Texans.

You can check out the Texas Roadhouse app for specials on family orders, and you'll be surprised at how quickly they have adapted to being a drive-thru/curbside location. Who is ready for a steak tonight?
