With Memorial Day coming up, and law enforcement putting on another seat belt blitz, it's good to know that we're pretty good about wearing our seat belts in the Lone Star State. I don't think I ever see anybody driving without their seat belt on, at least not in a long, long time. It seems like the law if firmly engraved in our brains, and it's totally natural to buckle up before you go anywhere. I can remember when the law was first put into effect, and it wasn't always that way.

The main interest in the law is saving lives, but in this country,  it seems the only way to get the message across is through your wallet. It's not like that in Europe. Take a look at this video that compares public service announcements from the U.S. and Europe.
