The calendar may have four seasons, but Hollywood’s calendar only really has two at this point: summer and awards, and summer seems to last longer and longer ever year. Though the start of May has long been the unofficial kickoff of the S.M.S., 2017 has already seen a King Kong movie, a ghost in a shell, and the fate of Fast & Furious franchise. The change from April to May is something of a formality in 2017. Once the Oscars are over, the summer begins.

Doug Liman is kind of a beast. Before the Edge of Tomorrow director’s next Tom Cruise project, American Made (formerly titled Mena), hits theaters, we’re getting another Liman action flick: The Wall. The first official trailer for one of two new Liman films arriving in 2017 has debuted online, giving us a sneak peak at a fairly simple dramatic thriller concept about two soldiers, a sniper and one very deadly standoff.

Roger Waters was already starting to live the life of an isolated rock star by the time he began working on Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' in 1978.

While he might be currently looking in the rear view mirror, celebrating the legacy of Pink Floyd’s classic ‘The Wall’ album, the experience has put Roger Waters in the planning mode for a new solo album, which would be his first proper solo release since 1990’s ‘Amused to Death.’

Pink Floyd has launched ‘Behind The Wall Clip 1,’ a teaser from the upcoming documentary which will be available on ‘The Wall Immersion’ box set arriving Feb. 28. The use of ‘Clip 1′ in the title leads one to believe that other clips will follow prior to the official release.
