With the April 15 release of their crowdfunded acoustic album 'Time Travelers & Bonfires' just a few weeks away, Sevendusthave added more dates to their previously announced acoustic 'An Evening With Sevendust' tour, and there are a few Texas dates.
In Part 1 of our interview with Sevendust, singer Lajon Witherspoon, bassist Vince Hornsby and drummer Morgan Rose spoke about their latest experience on ShipRocked 2014 and their forthcoming acoustic tour. In Part 2 of our interview (watch above), the band talks about their upcoming acoustic album and more.
Sevendust fans have anxiously been awaiting the band's 'Time Travelers & Bonfires' acoustic album, and to give fans a taste of what's to come, the band has teamed with Loudwire to exclusively premiere the single 'Black.'
Sevendust are ready to rock a new acoustic album for the fans, but they're asking for a little help to further the project. The band is the latest to utilize a PledgeMusic campaign to help fund one of their passion projects.
We already knew that Sevendust would be part of the 'From Death to Destiny' tour with Asking Alexandria, All that Remains, For Today and Emmure beginning in late October. Now, the band has announced more headlining dates between now and then.
Asking Alexandria have just unveiled details for a month-long U.S. tour beginning Oct. 25th, with a stop in San Antonio on the 27th. Along for the ride is Sevendust, All that Remains, For Today and Emmure, creating a group of highly celebrated acts to support Asking Alexandria.
As Asking Alexandria gear up to release their new disc ‘From Death to Destiny' on Aug. 6 via Sumerian Records, the band is already planning for the future with a monstrous North American Tour run in the works. The trek will mark their biggest headlining U.S. tour to date and will feature quite a lineup of heavy hitters from the rock and metal genres.
Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery is taking a step back from the road temporarily, but the band has moved quickly to fill the void, selecting Evanescence's Troy McLawhorn to sit in on guitar during Lowery's absence. The Sevendust rocker is taking the time away to be at home with his lovely wife Tara as they await the birth of their daughter. This will be the couple's second child. They wed in 2010
There’s no doubt that Sevendust fans are stoked for the band's upcoming album ‘Black Out the Sun,' as well as the their tours with Coal Chamber and Lacuna Coil in support of the new disc. Now there is even more reason to be excited, as vocalist Lajon Witherspoon has announced that he is planning to release a solo album.
