As reported by Newscenter 25 yesterday,  Schroeder Hall will open its doors in early September.  State Representative, Geanie Morrison had great news, not only for Schroeder Hall but also for the Brown Bag Saloon and Greek’s 205,  and bars with a permanent food truck located on the property...

Schroeder Hall owner, Linda Krause, passed away Wednesday, June 3rd. We pay tribute to her and her love of the 2nd oldest dance hall in Texas.

Schroeder Hall is gone silent and we miss it!  As of now, there is hope that live music will return next month.  Parker McCollum's show that was scheduled for Saturday April 11th and been rescheduled for Saturday, June 20th.  All tickets purchased for the original show will be honored...

Tejano artist Michael Salgado will take the stage Saturday, June 16th at Schroeder Hall for Ramona Castillo's Fundraiser.  For six months Ramona was hospitalized due to complications from an aortic aneurysm.  She has since be released, and is back at home with her loved ones...

They may be mostly Country these days but, Charlie Daniels has always had their roots in Southern Rock. I remember seeing them twice in the 70's, once with the Marshall Tucker Band and once with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Both times, they were great. I love the early stuff especially like 'Uneasy Rider,' 'The South's Gonna Do It Again,' and 'Long Haired Country Boy.' If you're a fan, you'll be happy to know
