Film may still be barely alive, but zombies are dead, according to resident undead authority George A. Romero. (That is, authority on the undead. Romero’s fine.) He singlehandedly brought the zombie genre back to life in 1968 with the now-classic Night of the Living Dead, whose rotting subjects have been a horror staple to this day. But the director doesn’t much care for how they’ve evolved, and claims they’re a lot less scarier than they used to be.
Brangelina is no more, love is dead, and oh, by the way, here’s the first trailer for a new movie starring Brad Pitt. Paramount no doubt figured they might as well take advantage of his name trending on Twitter and release the trailer for Allied. Or the trailer release was scheduled for today all along, in which case it would be quite a coincidence.
For the majority of his appearance on Zach Galifianakis' painful, funny, and painfully funny 'Between Two Ferns,' Brad Pitt seems to be losing out to his host in a big way. At one point, he appears to be trying to hide behind an actual fern. Later, Louis C.K. comes out and stares dismissively at the superstar. Galifianakis calls Pitt's latest film 'Furry.' It's pretty standard 'Ferns' stuff, and Pitt takes it like a champ.
It hasn't even completed its opening weekend, and producers are already looking forward to a 'World War Z 2,' thanks to a hefty box office take of $66 million -- and Brad Pitt, of course.
