The San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo is still greenlit! The SA rodeo runs from February 11th-28th and the entertainment schedule is out and is scaled down due to the current pandemic. I reached out to San Antonio Rodeo media relations and there is one reason that the show will go on.  FOR THE KIDS!  The kids have been working hard all year to raise these animals and they deserve a chance to win these scholarships.
The carnival will not happen this year due to the current pandemic but the Livestock Show will continue as planned.  There will be 14 PRCA Rodeo performances followed by entertainment along with a Ranch Rodeo and Xtreme Bulls. Performances start at 7 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and at 4 p.m. Sundays. Doors open two hours prior to each performance.
Due to the pandemic, the Rodeo and Concert's will happen in the Freeman Coliseum. A lot of National Acts are not touring right now but the Rodeo Committee has done a great job putting together an entertainment lineup for the Rodeo.  A lineup that includes: Aaron Watson, Lorrie Morgan. Kevin Fowler, and Shane Smith, just to name a few. Click here to get the full entertainment lineup and to purchase tickets. There will still be one more concert announcement on February 14th.  We will bring you the latest as it happens.
