I'm sure it comes as no surprise that San Antonio, the home of the Spurs is one of the best cities in the nation for basketball fans. It helps when you have such a great team. According to a study by Wallet Hub, only Los Angeles and Boston ranked higher.

Based on factors including performance levels of the city's NBA and college teams, ticket prices and stadium accessibility, the full report looked at 297 of the nation's largest cities and compared 18 key metrics.
