The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Flood Warning for the Guadalupe River near Bloomington until late Thursday night or until the warning is canceled.  This morning's river level was 14.9 feet, minor flooding is forecast.  Flood stage is 20 feet.  The river will continue to rise to near 22 feet by Wednesday morning and will stay above flood stage for about 24 hours.  At 24 feet you can expect moderate lowland flooding reaching well into the flood plain. Any oil tank batteries, pump jacks, and secondary roads near the river may be flooded.  River flooding will also affect Calhoun, Refugio, and Victoria County.  All persons with interest along the river should monitor the latest forecast, and be prepared to take necessary precautions.  Scattered showers remain in the forecast through Thursday, keep it here for the latest developments.
