Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn turned out to be the hero in yesterday's 37-34 Houston Texans win over the Indianapolis Colts, marking the team's first win of the season.

The Texans led most of the way but let the Colts get back into the game and tie it up to force overtime. Near the end of overtime, the Colts had a chance to win the game but Quarterback Andrew Luck couldn't connect with Chester Rogers on a 4th down play, giving the Texans another shot with less than  30 seconds left. Deshaun Watson threw a 24-yard strike to DeAndre Hopkins, setting up a field goal try by Fairbairn. His kick was no good but, a pre-snap timeout by the Colts gave Fairbairn another shot, which sailed through the uprights for the win. The victory put an end to the Houston Texans losing streak and gave them their first win this season.

This weekend, the Texans tangle with cross-state rivals the Dallas Cowboys who edged the Detroit Lions 26-24.
