Hard rocking metal label Sumerian Records will make sure that the metal community is represented well at the South by Southwest music conference next week. The label has just revealed the bands participating in their South by Southwest showcase, including Upon a Burning Body.

Sumerian will be taking over the House of Blues Annex (on the corner of Red River and 6th Street in Austin) for a full night of music on March 14. Upon a Burning Body, Betraying the Martyrs, DayShell, City in the Sea and Fever Dreamer will all get a chance to showcase their talents for music lovers. In addition, Ice Nine Kills and To Each His Own will be on hand to kick off the evening of music. The doors open at 6:30PM with the ear-shattering sounds ringing out until the early morning.

South by Southwest will also feature a keynote speech from Dave Grohl and Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has also booked an informational discussion called 'What the Hell Was That?!: Corey Taylor and the Art of Making Mistakes' at the music conference. Fans can also look for films from Green Day, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Grohl's 'Sound City' documentary also screening as part of South by Southwest's film festival.
