Loop 463 Overpass Scheduled to Open Monday

Transportation officials say the wait for the completion of the new Loop 463 overpass at Airline Road is almost over.

If you've driven the loop recently, then you know the eastbound lane has been open since July but, the westbound side has yet to be completed. Officials said they were scheduled to have it finished this week but, due to recent rains, it's now set to open Monday (8/24). Rain causes the delays because the pavement needs to be dry for lane striping.
