Another week down and I must admit (hopefully without jinxing anything) that I've felt better the past two weeks than I've felt in a long time. I went to my Cardio Electrophysiologist appointment yesterday fully expecting to have to go through the procedure where they go in through the artery in my thing into my heart and burn a section to bring my beats down. See I have a few extra beats in my heart per minute that don't really need to be there. Well, I am pleasantly surprised to report that the Doc performed another EKG and said it looked good. He did notice the extra beats but since they aren't causing me to be light headed or pass out or any pain whatsoever he didn't see the need to perform the procedure at this time. FINALLY! Some good news from a Dr. appt. I'll take it. I still have to see a Hemo-Oncologist at some point soon to discus my iron deficient Anemia which I haven't been feeling the effects of lately which is another plus. All in all I hope this means things are looking up and I'm on my way to remission. Please God say it's so!

On another note, I found a video of a young girl named Kandice. Kandice was diagnosed with the same type of Lupus I suffer from. Lupus SLE or Systemic Lupus. The most severe kind. Kandice is just your ordinary typical little girl with an extraordinary desire to help spread the word about Lupus. I have attached a 7 minute video about Lupus and the struggles it entails and just how Kandice is helping combat the disease....I hope you'll give it a watch.

That's all for this week. As always...welcome to my life with Lupus. Take care!
