On Sunday, Ben Keating and his Keating Motorsports racing team were celebrating a GTE-Am class win in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race but yesterday, that win was taken away over a rules infraction.

The team now has an official second-place finish due to minimum fueling time and capacity violation.

Ben Keating, the local car dealer who owns the motorsports team and is also a team driver said this kind of thing doesn't happen very often, and it's never happened to them before. He added that the minor infraction doesn't take anything away from the team who he said had a great race in their FordGT and deserved to win.

The team will put that behind them as they prepare for their next race, the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen on June 27.
