Geno Smith, the quarterback for the New York Jets, will have to miss 6-10 weeks because of a broken jaw at the hands of one of his teammates. Smith's jaw will require surgery to repair.

Geno was “sucker punched” in the jaw Tuesday by linebacker IK Enemkpali, coach Todd Bowles told reporters. The quarterback will likely miss 6-10 weeks due to jaw fractures.

Also according to coach Bowles, the fight was juvenile in nature and he was quoted as saying "It's something 6th graders would fight about".

Either way their staring quarterback will be out likely 2 months. Backup QB and former Houston Texans screw up Ryan Fitzpatrick will most likely take the snaps as Smith recovers.

And according to Twitter, shortly after the incident took place, the Jets announced that they released LB Enemkpali. Idiot.
