It's been two years since Hurricane Harvey devastated many communities in South Texas and now, the city of Victoria wants to know what you think about how to spend money to improve area drainage.

Victoria City Councilors are asking for ideas for a grant application to use state and federal funds to improve drainage in the Southwest part of the city and they are asking residents to make comments about it. The draft application can be reviewed at Victoria City Hall at 105 W. Juan Linn St. in the city secretary's and the city manager's office. You can also review it here.

A month-long comment period is underway now with a public hearing set for July 16 at Council Chambers. Written and emailed comments should be submitted by July 17. Write them in at City of Victoria, PO Box 1758, Victoria, TX 77903 or, email them to Clerissa Ramirez at cramirez@victoriatx.org.
