Not too shabby, if you ask me. The Dallas Cowboys picked Ohio State Running Back Ezekiel Elliott with their 4th overall pick last night. That happens to be the highest spot the Cowboys have picked a running back in 26 years under Jerry Jones.

Elliott is ranked as the second-best rusher in Ohio State history behind Archie Griffin.

Meanwhile, the Houston Texans traded up to select  Notre Dame Wide Receiver Will Fuller in the 21st overall pick.

Fuller had 62 receptions last year for 1,258 yards and 14 touchdowns, his second 1,000 yard season in a row.

One thing about the draft that I always enjoy is the optimism for the upcoming season. No matter how your team finished last year, it's like a whole new ballgame and, as the saying goes, anything can happen in the NFL, and it usually does.
