In what can only be described as a wild week in the NFL last night's game was no exception. The huge underdog Houston Texans would march into hostile territory in Cincinnati and not only beat the undefeated Bengals, but hold them to only 2 field goals the entire game.

Even the pregame analysts picked the Bengals to win and win by a lot. One going so far as to say they would win by 21 points....well that did not happen.

In a week that already saw the Detroit Lions upset Green Bay at home (a feat they haven't accomplished in 24 years) we also saw the Patriots nearly get upset by the Giants, the Saints get blown away by the Redskins, the Cowboys dropped what should have been a win, and less we forget the massacre of the Denver Broncos?

After the game Texans DE JJ Watt said "Our defense wanted to go out and make the red rifle (Bengals QB Andy Dalton) look like a Red Ryder BB Gun....a comment Dalton didn't find the humor in during a post game press conference.

Not that there was much offense on the Texans side of the ball. That didn't come until the 3rd quarter when Texans QB Brian Hoyer left the game with a concussion and backup TJ Yates was brought in and threw a strike to WR DeAndre Hopkins who, up until that point, was pretty dormant all night.

So all in all the Texans walk out of Cincinnati with a 10-6 win over the previously unbeaten Bengals and doing so put themselves into a tie with Indianapolis on top of the AFC south.

Next up for the Texans.....This Sunday the New York Jets will visit Houston.
