It was not much fun for Houston Texans fans watching their division rival Indianapolis Colts dominated them 21-7 in a wildcard playoff game on Saturday. There are positives from this season and head coach Bill O'Brien is staying optimistic.

Speaking to reporters after Saturday's game, O'Brien credited the team for coming back from a 9-3 start to win the AFC South and a playoff spot, adding that the franchise finally has a quarterback.

Deshaun Watson is the type of guy you need to win in this league, according to O'Brien. Let's hope he's right because the Texans have had a difficult time solidifying that position, having 11 starters since 2011.

Watson was impressive throwing for over 4,000 yards with 26 touchdowns becoming the 2nd player in team history to throw for 4,000 yards and 25 TDs. Watson's mobility also accounted for 500 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns.

As the Texans look ahead to next season, one big issue to deal with will be the free agency of defensive end Jadaveon Clowney, who has been named to the Pro Bowl in the past 3 years. If a deal can't be reached in the offseason, the Texans could use the franchise tag to keep him for another year. Clowney has said that he would like to stay in Houston.

All things considered, the Texans have a lot to be proud of and as a fan, I look forward to next season.

Hey, how about we work on that offensive line to give Deshaun Watson a little more protection?
