High School Kids Rock Van Halen’s ‘Running With the Devil’

Were you ever in a music class in high school? I played the recorder in 3rd grade and the coronet 4th, but that's about it. I did learn guitar in high school, but we never had cool projects like this one.

A class at Los Rios Rock School in San Juan Capistrano in California were able to go into a recording studio to do their version of songs from Van Halen's debut album. They used the original tracking sheets, recording equipment, and techniques as Van Halen did back in the day.  Of course, it helps that the school is a music school and it also happens to be in California. As you can see in the video, the results were pretty darn good.
