Don Felder has released another star-packed track in anticipation of his upcoming album, American Rock ‘n’ Roll.

The former Eagles guitarist teamed with Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani and Bob Weir for a new song, “Rock You.”

The hard-rocking track features Felder and Hagar sharing lead vocals, with Weir adding his voice on the chorus. A searing Satriani solo scorches the center of the song, with Felder and Satriani dueling on powerful guitar riffs during the song’s emphatic climax.

You can hear the song, and check out its lyric video, below.

“Rock You” initially came together when Felder flew to Hagar’s Bay Area studio to record vocals. From there, the other collaborations just sort of fell into place, as the former Eagles guitarist explained in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“Just as we were finishing, Joe Satriani came walking in,” Felder recalled. “I said, ‘Joe, grab a guitar and let’s figure out some guitar parts together.’ Joe and I plugged and sat in the control room and had a blast writing and arranging the guitar parts together. Just as we were finishing the guitars, Bob Weir came strolling down the hall and I asked him to sing on the chorus with us. It just all fell together and was so much fun to work with Sammy, Joe and Bob on this track. It totally rocks!”

“Rock You” is the second song released from American Rock ‘n’ Roll. The title track, released in January, featured Felder alongside Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash and drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Other guests on the album include Mick Fleetwood, Peter Frampton and Richie Sambora. American Rock ‘n’ Roll is due on April 5.
