Makes sure you stop by Tuesday and show your support. JP will be on site from 11:00-1:00!!  We have listed a few ways below how you can help:

1. Building the walls of a Habitat house that will go up in Refugio County.

2. Habitat ReStore is celebrating 20 years in business with 20% off the entire store. We've never done an entire store sale before!

3. Mrs. Claus is having a kids story time at the ReStore at 4 pm.

4. We have a matching donation - for every dollar raised, it will be doubled up to $20,000 thanks to: The Joyce Teinert Family, the Chris Pickering Family, and an anonymous family.

5.Ribbon cutting is at 11:30.

Golden Crescent Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian ecumenical housing ministry that builds quality, low cost homes in partnership with low-income families and the Golden Crescent. Our affiliate serves DeWitt, Goliad, Jackson, Lavaca and Victoria Counties in Texas.

Our mission is: "Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build Homes, Communities and Hope."
Volunteers build the simple, decent, affordable homes. The houses are funded by donations from foundations, corporations, local businesses and community members.

Qualified families purchase their homes at cost and pay the purchase price back over a 30-year period with no interest. These monthly payments create a sustainable funding source and are recycled into building more homes for other needy families. Partner Families are required to work 300 hours of "Sweat Equity" per adult, 80 hours of which must be expended on their own house.
