The Victoria Generals made it a sweep of the Woodlands Strykers yesterday with a 3-1 win on the road.

Starting pitcher Stuart Springer had a good outing marking three good games for the Generals, who also got a key hit from Justin Pacchioli.

It was a pinch-hit for Justin Pacchioli who hit a triple with two men on to put the Generals ahead 3-1

For the Generals, Stuart Springer threw five innings and only allowed one run but would also take a no decision. Armando Arevalo came on to throw two innings of relief and picked up the win. Troy Ward and Jeff Chestnut tossed the final two frames, with Chestnut picking up his second straight save.

The Generals are back home tonight opening up a four game home stand starting against the Acadiana Cane Cutters. It's also Harley Davidson night. The first 150 fans will receive a bandana and all fans that ride their bike to the game will get in for free.

Oh, and did I mention that it's also Thirsty Thursday?
