You Don't Have to Miss the Parade This Year! Just Watch it from Your PC or TV Instead!

Before we tell you how to watch it from the convenience of your couch, we want to be sure to invite you out to downtown Victoria for the parade as well. This year promises to be epic, especially for children!

Victoria Parks and Recreation, The City of Victoria, Victoria Main Street Program, and Townsquare Media have joined forces to bring you a parade to beat all parades!

We're talking snow, slides and serious celebration! We will fill you in on the details after the Thanksgiving holiday. But if you can't make it there, the City is offering you the next best thing, watching it from the comfort of your home. Here is how.

According to the latest civic alert from the City of Victoria, the City offers, "The parade will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 4. and residents can watch the parade live on Facebook at City of Victoria, Texas – Government or on TV15 (local cable channels 15 and 115 and online at www.victoriatx.gov/tv15).

Here is how the parade will flow.

The parade will travel on Main Street between Goodwin Avenue and Church Street, then continue one block west toward Bridge Street and proceed north on Bridge Street back to Goodwin Avenue. These streets and the streets bordered by them will be closed during the parade.

Know Before You Go

The City will begin placing barricades before the parade begins.

Residents should not attempt to drive into barricaded areas.

Handicapped-accessible parking will be available in the Victoria County Bridge Street Annex parking lot along the sidewalk facing Forrest Street.

Food Vendors will be on hand.

We can't wait to see you there or to wave to you as we pass the camera along the way! Either way, we are happy to be a part of bringing the magic of Christmas and community to you!
