Disney on Ice is in Houston RIGHT NOW!  Disney on Ice is happening at NRG Stadium and is running through Sunday, with two performances a day.  The Disney On Ice: Dream Big tour arrived in Houston yesterday.  This is the first big-time event NRG during the pandemic outside of the election and Texans games.  The 'Dream Big' tour features some of the new Disney stories alongside the Classic Disney princesses. Check out the lineup: MICKEY MOUSE & MINNIE MOUSE, MOANA, COCO, FROZEN, ALADDIN, AND THE DISNEY PRINCESSES.

KPRC in Houston reported that just over 2,000 tickets were available Wednesday night, and just under a thousand people attended. As far as the staff is concerned, The staff of the productions live in a bubble and is tested for COVID-19 several times per week. Disney on Ice will run through Sunday and will feature two shows daily and three shows on Saturday, ticket prices range from $25-$125 directly from Ticketmaster. Earlier this week, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo announced plans to return in May 2021.  The 2020 rodeo was originally scheduled for March 2 – 21.  Competitions, concerts and entertainment, carnival, and other attractions and activities are now scheduled for May 4 – 23, 2021, pending COVID-19 health status.  You can get more information by reading the Rodeo Houston press release here.
