Today, March 6, is Day of the Dude. Whose the Dude? Have you not heard of the Dude? Jeff Bridges played the timeless role of The Dude in The Big Lebowski, released in theaters March 6, 1998. It was a big hit and grew in popularity throughout the years. In fact, the movie was so popular that it has inspired a religion called "Dudeism."
