The San Antonio Riverwalk is already lighted for Christmas but if you don't feel like making the long trip just yet.  Cuero's Christmas in the Park kicks off its 21st year on Monday, November 22rd, and will run through New Year's Day. Park hours will be nightly from 6:00 PM through 10:00 PM.

NEW DISPLAYS THIS YEAR:

Back in October, I spoke with Samantha Bayfus at the Cuero Development Corporation, and she tells me that there will be 10 new displays this year with 3 new photo ops at the end of the tour as well.  The drive-thru archway has also been extended.  Christmas in the Park will close out the season with a walking tour on Sunday, January 2nd, 2022!

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS:

Cuero's Christmas in the Park had humble beginnings in the year 2000 with the lighting of the Gazebo and the rest is history.  It has grown to over 250 displays, with all displays being converted to LED lighting back in 2018.  Converting to LEDs has the dual benefit of conserving electricity as well as significantly reducing the need to change bulbs on a yearly basis.
