YORDAN ALVAREZ DOMINATED THE ALCS

Jordan has led the offensive charge in the past three games going 9-13 with 1 HR, 3 doubles, and 1 triple. He posted the highest ALCS batting average ever! Alvarez has also hit for the cycle over the last three games as well. In the closeout game, he was 4-4 with a double, triple, and two singles. For his efforts, he was awarded MVP honors at the 2021 ALCS!

ELITE PITCHING DURING THE ALCS:

After the Houston Astros struggled with pitching during games 3 and 4. The Houston Astros pitching staff has really buttoned things up. The turning point in the series was game 5. Framber Valdez gave us the best start in the postseason thus far and almost went the distance going 8 innings allowing only 3 hits and striking out 5 against a hot Red Sox offense, at the time.

The Astros eventually fell to the Braves in the World Series.

I can't wait for the 2022 season of Houston Astros baseball.
