The Houston Astros are still alive in the Wild Card race but fell a little further behind with a 6-5 loss to the Cleveland Indians yesterday.

Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco went 8 inings on the mound to pick up the win, upping his record to 11-7 on the season. He gave up a 2-run homer to Colby Rasmus in the 4th inning, and 4 runs total in 7 & 1/2 innings of work.

Houston is now 9 games behind Texas in the AL West.
