You could call it lucky 13 because, that's how many games it took for the Houston Astros to beat the Texas Rangers in Arlington, which they did last night 3-1.

The Astros haven't had a lot of luck against the Rangers this year, losing their first 8 against the team, 12 straight in Arlington but, last night was different as Jose Altuve broke a tie in the 7th with a 2-run double.

Doug Fister got the win for the Astros, improving his record to 6-3, and marking his 5th win in his last 8 starts. He had 5 strikeouts and gave up 1 run in 6 innings. Will Harris got his 2nd save, as he improved to a record-setting 26 & 1/2  consecutive scoreless innings, the longest streak in the majors so far this season.

The state rivalry continues today in Arlington at 1:05 p.m.
